Miniature cupcakes

When you love colours and pastry!

Make your own tiny cupcakes - like a keychain or a bag accessory.

I've used Catona-yarn from Scheepjes, purchased at Favoritgarner.

  • Cottonyarn in different colours.
  • Hook 2,5 mm.
  • Wadding.
  • Needle & scissor.
  • Keychain-rings (bought on eBay).
  • O-rings.
  • Tassels (bought on eBay).
  • Round pliers.
  • Pompom.
  • Clue.

The cupcakes consists of two parts that you sew together.

R2: 2 sc in every st *6 times* (12 sc).

R3: 1 sc, 2 sc in next st *6 times* (18 sc).

Bottom:

Ch 2.

R1: 6 sc in first ch.

R2: 2 sc in every st *6 times* (12 sc).

R3: 1 sc, 2 sc in next st *6 times* (18 sc).

R4: 1 sc x 2, 2 sc in next st *6 times* (24 sc).

R5: Front loop only - 1 sc in every st (24 sc).

R6-8: 1 sc in every st (24 sc).

Finish off and leave a long tail for assembly - don't forget to stuff it before sewing it all together.

Glue on the pompom on the top of the cupcake.

Use three o-rings and a keychain to hang the cupcake in. Take a fourth o-ring to hang on the tassel below the keychain ring.
